Smoky Hill High School
34-year-old Smoky Hill High School will undergo a revitalization project, starting in the fall of 2009. The project includes partial window replacement, restroom upgrades, new doors and floor coverings, refurbished lockers and much more. In addition, the school's swimming pool will be replaced. The revitalization project will enhance the academic and athletic excellence for which SHHS is known.

Students who attend some of Cherry Creek School District’s oldest schools will be welcomed into newly renovated buildings this August thanks to an investment by the local community. Through the summer of 2010, more than 1.6 million square feet of space was renovated at schools built between 1958 and 1982. The end of the school year is busier than usual this year for students and staff at several schools that will undergo major renovations this summer.
