Overland High School
The revitalization of Overland High School includes many improvements to the existing school, which was built in 1978. Ceilings, flooring and cabinetry will be replaced, science labs will be updated, and the building's boilers and hot water system will be replaced. In addition, a state-of-the-art Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Center will be built on the Overland High School-Prairie Middle School campus. It is scheduled to open in August 2011.

Students who attend some of Cherry Creek School District’s oldest schools will be welcomed into newly renovated buildings this August thanks to an investment by the local community. Through the summer of 2010, more than 1.6 million square feet of space was renovated at schools built between 1958 and 1982. No Summer Break for Bond Projects

The end of the school year is busier than usual this year for students and staff at several schools that will undergo major renovations this summer.
