The sounds of lockers slamming and children talking were replaced with the rattling of jackhammers and buzzing of drills in the Cherry Creek School District this summer. Excitement Builds as Schools Prep for Renovation

Excitement is building as Mike Langlett and his crews forge ahead on renovations to Independence Elementary School and the other schools in the Cherry Creek School District scheduled for renovations and mechanical upgrades. Construction on Independence is scheduled to start in June. Plans for the renovation include remodeling classroom areas, student restrooms and an extension enclosure to provide more protection from the weather.
