Elementary 41
Pine Ridge Elementary is under construction at 6525 South Wheatlands Parkway in the Wheatlands neighborhood, east of the Southlands Shopping Center. Scheduled to open in August 2010, Elementary #41 will serve families in eastern portions of the district, where enrollment growth could push existing schools over capacity by 2012. The school will be led by Principal Darin Carney, who was most recently principal of Mission Viejo Elementary.
