The end of the school year is busier than usual this year for students and staff at several schools that will undergo major renovations this summer. Construction of the Institute of Science & Technology at the Overland-Prairie Campus is well underway. Crews have reconfigured the sidewalk along Jewell Avenue, graded the site and installed the underground utility infrastructure. During the next 16 months, the two-story, 58,000-square foot, state of the art building, funded by Cherry Creek voters through the 2008 bond election, will continue to take shape. [ more... ]
